This blog post will walk you through how to install and run the Deathmatch Fake Launcher! After launching Deathmatch, it will display a 4-way split-screen multiplayer arena where players frantically try to knock each other off of a giant floating island. The island is constantly shifting and changing as it responds to the real-time actions of players, so every action you make in Deathmatch is unique and can't be replicated in any way.
With the exception of the Dartz, all firearms are available for use no matter what difficulty or difficulty level you're playing on. When playing on the second difficulty, ammo crates are slightly more common to find. On the third difficulty, ammo crates are VERY common to find. On the fourth difficulty, ammo crates are VERY common to find AND you start with double your default number of magazines. For example, if you have 6x M16A2 magazines when you first spawn as a Marauder (which is what most players choose as their starting class), you'll now have 12x M16A2 magazines. This effect stacks with itself as time passes and if you continue to achieve more kills. So, if you continue to perform well and end up with 21x M16A2 magazines, you could potentially have 42. The Marauder's ability to swap between a Machine Gun and a Rocket Launcher is only available when playing on the fourth difficulty setting or higher. If you manage to reach the number 1 spot on the scoreboard, you'll be rewarded with a 30-second "Berserk Mode". In this mode, your movement speed is greatly increased and your damage output is greatly increased as well. While it's active, a siren will sound to notify all other players that you're currently in Berserk Mode. The more kills you achieve while Berserk Mode is active, the longer it will last for. You gain a 10,000-point bonus for every kill that you achieve while Berserk Mode is active. This means that if your current score is 200,000 and you manage to achieve two kills with Berserk Mode activated, your score will become 210,000. If you're having trouble getting into the top spot on the scoreboard due to other players killing you too often, this 10,000-point bonus can be your saving grace.
